Senior Associate - Restructuring / Insolvency
Global, strengthening their Queensland market in the Restructuring and Insolvency space. Considered a premium, they play an integral role in the international and domestic R&I.
They are attracting a senior R&I specialist with a niche skillset to prepare and deliver advice and execute strategies to local and international banks, other financial institutions and major insolvency matters. You will be exposed to cross-border corporate and also enjoy the level of complexity of receiverships, liquidations, restructuring/work-out scenarios, enforcement of securities, administrations and asset recoveries.
What makes this unique and ideal is that they hold an excellent R&I practice in both Sydney and Melbourne, driving a solid 'one-team' logic with these other established practices. Expect involvment in significant corporate collapses / restructuring advisory and insolvency litigation work also coming out of the southern states as well as local QLD.
Locally you will align with a reputed operator who is highly networked and driving the recognition the Brisbane insolvency practice and the broader market. Internally, they, alongside the other Partners operate as a cohesive unit, are active in the direction (including monthly updates), inclusivity of the practice group and the wider firm.

- 4-8 years' post admission experience
- Undertaking or completion of ARITA Certification preferred
- Strong expertise across informal work-outs, financial restructuring, formal insolvency proceedings and insolvency litigation
