Senior Associate - Employment & Safety
Differentiation: This two Partner group will offer you diversity across employment, workplace and safety – covering both back-end and advisory matters. A key point of differentiation from some of the other practices is the sophistication in their approach to client attraction and retention. Rather than waiting for instruction, they present strategic solutions as a combined front in response to careful analysis.
Autonomy: One of the partners also holds a management role within the firm, creating responsibilities outside of the practice. He is therefore looking to attract a Senior Associate who he can allow to run in a largely autonomous manner. You can expect to be introduced to the client and the matter and then to be allowed full carriage. This in turn will present opportunity for you to continue to build your own reputation in the market and a practice of your own.
Clients: While a national, the proactive approach outlined allows them to attract multinational and blue-chip Australian companies that would normally instruct the top-tier. Spanning blue- and white-collar, you will access construction, broadcasting and transport among others. Balance the cutlure of a mid-tier with the sophistication of a larger firm.
Requirements: you will bring 5-8 yrs’ PAE in WRS Law with experience OR an interest in safety law a plus but not essential and hold sound academics on your LLB.
